Luxe Maternity Session FAQ

1. When should I book my session? We recommend booking as early as possible after 16 weeks gestation. While we try to accomodate last minute bookings, booking 6 weeks out ensures that you’ll likely have the ability to have a weekend session as our weekends do book out first.

2. What’s Included?

   All of our maternity sessions include 2 hours in studio

   Full professional editing of images in a magazine style

3. Is family allowed to be included?

   We’re happy to welcome your significant other along with any of your other children. We do ask that children be accompanied by someone to occupy them so that you can focus on your session experience.

4. Do you provide the gowns, fabrics, robes & wings?

   Yes. The studio closet is stocked with the most luxurious gowns and beautiful silks, draping fabrics and exquisitely breathtaking angel wings.

5. What is the process for booking my session?

   All of our sessions can be booked through a consultation with Tracie or through our online booking on our website. A consultation allows you to gather all the information on your session & also allows the studio to curate your experience to make it the most memorable and exquisite for you. All of our paperwork is done online including payments. Use this link to book your consultation.

7. How do I prepare for my session?

   Get a manicure & pedicure within a few days of your session….you’ll be so glad you did. Keep the tones neutral as we’ll be using your hands on your bump and bright colors can be a distraction. You will receive a full email checklist on how to prepare for your maternity session upon booking. We do ask every mom to bring a strapless skin-colored bra (as close to skin tone as possible) and a skin-colored thong.

8. What if I don’t want any artistic nudes?

   Each of our maternity sessions are curated to the needs and desires of our guests. While some of our moms prefer artistic nudes, some prefer fully clothed and still others prefer something in between or even all three looks.

9. Is it optional to edit out stretch marks, blemishes, excess weight (back, arms, chin or thighs)?

   We want you to feel amazing during your session & proud of the amazing images that we will create together. During your consultation we will discuss any areas of concern. Full professional editing is included with your session and any desired edits are available to you and will be confirmed during your consultation.

10. I don’t know how to pose myself…will there be instruction?

    Tracie is known for her artistic approach, posing skills & creative lighting. Your most amazing angles that accentuate the beauty of your bump will make the images we create together incredibly artful & timeless. You will be fully instructed on what to do during your session. You’ll feel elegant, beautiful, sexy & comfortable.

11. I have a few ideas from your website that I fell in love with, can we create some of those?

    Yes! Absolutely. Tracie loves to collaborate ideas with all of our clients. Please bring any of the images you’ve found in our portfolio and share them at the beginning of your session.

12. When will I receive the images back?

    Edits are available for download 2-3 weeks from the date of your session.

13. Which payment options are available?

    The studio accepts all major credit cards & cash. Payment plans available upon request.
